Lonestar 2014 Fall Hopefuls!

Ok I know it's very early starting this but I am so excited I couldn't help it! Application period doesn't even start until January! My journey has been a long one and I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel so I am sharing a little of that experience here and I would love to hear from others as well.

I just received my clearance letter from the BON so I am clear to apply in January for North Harris and Montgomery ADN programs, unfortunately I missed Kingwood. At this point I have an 11.1 and I'm about to retake the HESI so we shall see what is in store for me. I'm done with all my pre-reqs for my BSN and I'm so ready to start the next phase of my education and get on with more taking care of people! It's been 25 years since I decided I wanted to be a nurse. Twenty years of raising my kids, taking care of soldiers' families and single soldiers and eight years of riding in an ambulance later, I'm ready to follow my dream! Watch me go!

Sorry for the misinformation, I was reading off a brochure they had.

I was trying to ask KA at Cyfair about this, but does anyone know if any of the paperwork that needs to be submitted on certified profile needs to be notarized? Their are two forms that ask for witness signatures.

9 days and the LVN Montgomery program begins. Has any alternates been accepted? I'm still praying that they call me. ?

-Lonab04 I have not heard anything yet. I called yesterday and the person that answered said I was 4th on the list from last week that I was 7th. She said they have called Alternates even the day the program started to come in, and that they had a couple of years that they called all alternates. I hope so. I am praying with you. Hope to meet you soon :)

I didn't have to anything notarized for certified profile last semester.

For the ladies that signed up for the kingwood pharmacology I already emailed her did she respond to you guys or were you just able to sign up for it after

I'm pretty sure I had my husband sign on one of mine and it was accepted
