Lone Star Spring 2011

Okay, for all of us that did not get into the Lone Star Fall 2010 program and are trying again for the Spring...here we go again.

I'm retaking AP2 this summer (I have a B so now I want an A) to increase my points. After that I just don't know what else to do because I have all co-reqs completed, CPR done and Immunizations done. What are your plans to increase your chances of getting in for the Spring?

Oh dear!!!!!!!!! Congrats on KW applicants who have gotten in! I have an 11.65, so I'm dying to know if I got in. crazy high cut offs here. songbird, I'm sure you will get in!!

Congrats. Where did you apply? Kingwood or Cyfair?

Ok. Just checked my mail. I got a letter. It says I am on the alternate list. A little bummed about that but, that means I still have a chance. So, I guess Kingwood is sending their stuff out.

Hey songbird my hesi score is the same as yours and Kingwood is my first choice. I haven't received anything in the mail yet. I hope Kingwood's cutoff is 11.5 or below since our scores are 11.57. Good luck!

Just got my letter and I'm in for Kingwood!! My score was 11.652!! yayy!

Congrats to everyone that has their acceptance letter from Kingwood. I am still waiting on mine and I'm trying to keep a positive attitude! I made a 11.57 for my score. Whoever has received their acceptance letters does it say what the cutoff number is???? I'm freaking out!

Yay!!! Finally, someone with my score. However, I have this fear that they lost my application or I did something wrong and didn't get in. Waiting for my husband to call and tell me if I got something in the mail yet!!!

First time to post here and I am in total shock! Songbird1, I cannot believe you're an alternate. I was so confident about my 11.47. I heard the cutoff would be an 11.4 so I didn't re-take my Hesi. My husband is going to have a cow!!
