It may be early but around this time, those applying to Fall 2020 are engulfed in an A&P course trying for the grades needed. Collaboration and early encouragement can only help. Fall seems to be the large cycle and a lot have had the same instructors. Some of us could even be sitting by each other in class and not know.
I know we cannot say who we are taking. I'm in A&P 1 at Tomball in a hybrid course. If I can be of any help I will do so. I have a study guide for A&P that's about 90 pages. In addition, I have a pdf of one of the books (I think it's Marieb).
Goodxluck in class everyone and hope to see you in nursing school in the Fall!

I agree I think a bunch of people still applied. All the people who looking to go to a BSN program for fall that didn’t get accepted that can apply to lonestar because it’s still open. I just think a lot of people to don’t know about this group

They can’t apply if they haven’t taken the HESI tho which I’ve heard is wait listed at this point. Although I’m not sure how the proctor situation works or if they can fit In more people using a proctor. I would apply to different schools but they seem to all require different courses/exams. I haven’t taken the TEAS and I haven’t taken pharm yet so I can’t even apply to the majority of them. Lone Star has the easiest pre-reqs but I feel like more nursing schools use TEAS instead of the HESI.

I would wait till you get in & the actual schedule comes out . With cases increasing I’m sure we won’t be going to clinicals it’ll probably be online just like they have it online currently
You're absolutely right. I'm going to apply to both just in case.

Yeah these forums never have all of the people who apply om them. A lot of the applicants just lurk and never comment ?

Yeah I'm starting to notice that as well. The TEAS is wayyy harder in my opinion. I don't know if I'm willing to tackle that beast again just to apply to more schools. The TEAS test is expensive, app fees, and sending transcripts just to get denied.

I'm at a 7.6 so I'm feeling the same way!

Yes! I’ve heard TEAS is cut throat. I won’t say the HESI was a breeze but they don’t even require 2 of the sections on there (if they did I would be done for). I hate to say it but I was so confident with my score when I applied but now with the extended deadline I’m worried I won’t make the cut.

The only good thing about the TEAS is that you can retake a section and not the whole exam like the HESI

I totally understand where you're coming from. I think we'll still get in, just not at our first or second choice ?
