I applied to Lone Star - ADN program Spring 2012. I was accepted as an alternate. I am hoping to get a call from the nursing department saying there is a spot for me. If not I will be reapplying for the next application period for entrance to the program in the Fall 2012. Good luck everyone!!!!
I've heard there are a LOT of PowerPoints. I just hope they pass them out, rather than our having to go through five thousand ink cartridges to print them!
No, we have to print them. I know that for sure! My mom has one of those ginormous commercial laser printers I'm most definitely using whether she likes it or not!
Tlcarter I used to live in Splendora it's far from everything lol, i really wanted avregular hospital not rehab or nursing home, ive worked nursing home for three years, and im done with it! and Steph thursdays you?
I I'll be there Wednesdays and Thursdays for the first few weeks of clinicals and then just Wednesdays.
So y'all don't do all your clinicals in hospitals?
@ Stephalump - No, there were quite a bit of rehabilitation centers, such as Healthsouth and Kindred Hospital, I believe there were only 4 actual hospitals to select from.
Ah, well I guess that makes sense since y'all have a heck of a lot more people to place! We only have 4 clinical groups, so we have three different hospitals to choose from and I guess that's enough. And a guess a lot of graduates from all of our programs will end up at rehab/LTC jobs it's good experience!
