I applied to Lone Star - ADN program Spring 2012. I was accepted as an alternate. I am hoping to get a call from the nursing department saying there is a spot for me. If not I will be reapplying for the next application period for entrance to the program in the Fall 2012. Good luck everyone!!!!
I am still waiting to hear about our assignment is from Tomball. We did not receive any information on what we should read at orientation. I am kind of glad because the classes I am taking now do not allow me time for reading anything extra, except for maybe a post or two from you all.
Heck yes, don't wish reading on yourself! I have zero time for it...gonna have to make time, I guess.
On another note....tetorifice shots hurt like crazy!
I'm on chapter 3! Wooh!
I'm really thinking just reading it is enough. When we get to it in lecture, it should jog our memories, and all the need-to-know info should be on our powerpoints from what I hear, so we'll know what to go back to focus on.
I'm just going to keep believing that :)

Yeah, I attached a resume. I'm not really surprised...I interviewed at MD Anderson a whole back and when I was talking to the recruiter and she said they get an average of 300 qualified applicants for every job they post, and closer to 400 for every RN job they post, so the odds aren't great no matter what you do. I've put in maybe 50 applications and gotten 4 interviews and 1 job offer that I couldn't take because it ended up being M-F 9 to 5. I'm hoping the economy is booming by the time we graduate!
