I applied to Lone Star - ADN program Spring 2012. I was accepted as an alternate. I am hoping to get a call from the nursing department saying there is a spot for me. If not I will be reapplying for the next application period for entrance to the program in the Fall 2012. Good luck everyone!!!!

Did you get enrolled in any classes? I was able to get enrolled at a different campus. She told us not to go to Tomball to enroll today, not that we couldn't go to another campus. I also got my i.d., books, uniforms, badges, and a jacket. I will get shoes this weekend. Today I was supposed to be reviewing for a final in govt, but I had to miss class. I have the rest of the night to study.

No, I didn't do it today but I saved them in my shopping cart. I am going to call tomorrow and see about taking the AM 1105 so I can take the Pharm. Man you are on top of stuff. :) excited? lol I am too!
What did she tell you about getting your name changed? I recently divorced and i filed for a name change back to my maiden name. Guess i need to take my divorce papers to the school along with my driver license and social security card. Luckily i did my background check and ss verification under my maiden name.
@blondie12 our two years is planned out on that paper she held up. Every class has been scheduled. I am not sure if we will ever know what our next semester schedule will be until enrollment is open for that semester. Guess we could ask. my understanding is that we are waiting for email communication from our instructor for assignments or from the department assistant if there are any issues with our paperwork!?!
I ordered some Timberland Pro Renova slip on shoes, because the reviews couldn't get any better, but they felt terrible on me. Felt very heavy, like I was lugging around weights! And, for some odd reason, the right shoe left the right side of my foot hurting. I think I'm just going to stick with running shoes!

She probably meant the attrition rate, not the graduation rate - much more likely that 10% fail/drop out of the program. I have a couple friends who have graduated from there, and there were definitely more than 5 of them at pinning :-)
