2017 Lone Star ADN Hopefuls

Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough. :sorry: :down:

Hello, zullyzoo.... You would need to get a booster shot. Have proof of it along with the Hep B vaccinations you have already taken. I made a 90.4% overall on my Hesi and an A in English, but a B in Anatomy. My score is 7.044 out of 8, that B in Anatomy really messed over me. Do anyone think I have a chance of getting in Cy-Fair???

I turned my application is this morning. Now my nerves are really all over the place. Can't wait!

Great! Where did u turn it in? Cy-fair or kingwood? Did they tell u anything about how long we will have to wait to get a response?

I turned mine in for Kingwood yesterday. She told me it will be 2-4 weeks from the time application period closes

I applied to CyFair (1st choice) and Kingwood. I dropped off my application at CyFair about two weeks ago and a few days later I got an email saying, "You will receive notification of your application status through your myLoneStar student email account in October or November." I wish I could be placed into a medically induced coma until then.

I have not recieved that email yet. Hope I get it soon I just want to make sure it is complete. But I feel you on that coma.... I don't know what I am going to do with myself lol

I actually sent them an email just to make sure I turned in all the necessary paperwork, and they responded to that. I'm not sure if they automatically email everyone who applied -- just so you know.

Just as I was typing my response, I got the email lol. So i guess my application is completely. It does state my points and that I should get a response by October or November...

Not sure my dear but my first choice is CyFair. U might have to call kingwood and check.

The waiting game begins. Kingwood is my first choice but I would not mind Cy-Fair.
