Loma Linda University Medical Center New Grad 2011

Has anyone applied for Loma Linda's new grad program? I heard its starting next month but I have no idea if they even started interviewing people. I keep calling but no one is giving me an answer.

Haha Littleguccipiggy, I feel the same way! I will definitely be obsessively checking this forum. My heart leaps at every cellphone ring too, and I get so disappointed when an unknown number turns out to just be my college's alumni association asking for money, or a salesperson, haha. I guess we should get a call by the 10th if we are selected to interview, so sometime next week, ahhh!

hello,

it's my first time posting on this forum but have been a long time reader :) i'm graduating from loma linda next week and did my practicum on the nicu. i applied to the residency on 5/9 (pretty much the minute it opened up!) and got a call on thursday 6/2 re: setting up an interview with nicu. is anyone else interviewing? maybe i will see some of you there next thursday~ talk about nervewracking!

Can anyone send me the link on New Grad info? Application dates? Info session? etc?? I only see this page http://www.llu.edu/central/hrm/new-grad.page? which doesn't have much detailed info on it on how to get started (for the next application session of course)

DO they have new grad program only in the Children's Hospital?

Hi friends, I called HR and the lady who answered said that depending on the unit managers, you'll either get an email or phone call on what the next step in the process is. Good luck to everybody!!!!

The next residency starts on Feb. 6 but they haven't listed when the application period will begin. Check this link for updates: http://lomalindahealth.org/childrens-hospital/for-health-professionals/residency/nursing/about-us/news-and-events/index.page?

They have new grad trainings for adult units but not a residency program. I think once you get hired to the adult unit, you go through a training period for x amount of weeks (depending on the unit).

hey BSNwab i cant send you any messages. I acquired my CES through CGFNS. i let the NCLEX application agency took care of my NCLEX exam prep. took only about 3 weeks til my ATT arrived after the eligibility. all in all it took only about 3 mos to process.
