Loma Linda new grad RN Summer 2020

Anyone apply to the RN new grad program at Loma Linda University medical center for this Summer?

I haven't seen any posts on here about it so was wondering if anyone has any information on if anything will be delayed due to the pandemic, or if anyone has heard anything back from them about their application.

Also what units did you guys apply to!?

I know, Jesus sent out that email today, but just last week the cardiac unit said we'll get some kind of notification today (May 18th). Did anyone hear anything back or does it now change to June 12th per Jesus's email? A bit confused and fustrated over the whole ordeal.

Feeling frustrated too. I honestly don't know, it sounds like some departments are bending the rules and sending out verbal offers and some are not.

@UknownRN have you been in contact with the manager via e-mail or phone? I e-mailed the manager I interviewed with but no word, I'm debating if I should call.

Hi everyone! I know we were told the 18th and I just wanted to give an update. I interviewed of the week of April 13th and was offered a position verbally on April 17th. After a month of waiting the lady that offered me the position called today and stated that they are sending names through to HR today and HR should be reaching out no later than June 12th just as Jesus stated. Not sure what other units are doing and the unit I was offered was not any of the cardiac or ICU units. Hang in there, the news is coming!

I'm definitely going to continue to apply and interview for other hospitals...everything is uncertain right now!

I can confirm that the departments are starting to reach out. I received my verbal offer yesterday. The woman I spoke with said the departments were delayed but that they are now making their decisions. keeping my fingers crossed for yall.

I have not. Let us know if you hear anything. Has anyone heard from any cardiac units?

hi everyone! I got a verbal offer yesterday and was told HR will be sending out formal offers in the next 1-3 weeks. I also saw from various FB groups that calls are beginning to go out.
