Live Chat Schedule - feedback needed

We've recently updated our live chat (click here)

We are planning on setting up some scheduled chat times, so that there will actually be people in the chat room at specific times :)

We'd like to get some feedback from you, our members, as to what times you would like to set up for scheduled chat times. So please let us know what you think.

Also, we would also like to set up chats on specific nursing related topics, so, please submit your suggestions on topics you'd like to see discussed as well.

We will be putting the chat schedule in our newsletter, which is going out Mon or Tues, so please send in your suggestions as soon as possible. Thanks again for all your help!

To address time zones- east Coast, West Coast, Pacific, Central and Did I leave one out? I guess that is what everyone is speaking about the time zone.

Wow, west is three hours behind east coast, Pacific is two hours behim East coast and Pacific is an hour behind east coast. not sure if I have pacific an central in the right place....Oh well you all know what I was trying to do.

It seem the topics would be starting at different time and to support everyone who would like to attend.

We don't do daylight savings time. We are anywhere between two hours to six hours earlier than the mainland, depending on mainland location and time of year.

Almost every time I've gone in there the rooms have been empty. I like live chats, but the AllNurse ones have been a big disappointment.

Maybe a BIG link button at the top of the home page might help?

I was thinking that a big button at the top with a list of who's in Chat would encourage people to come in when there was someone sitting in Chat and just reading the BB, waiting for someone to join.

A button announcing when folks are in there would be awesome!!!

I normally go in there, and wait...for some reason my sounds don't work, so I go onto the forum..answer a few, and check back in...many times I missed someone because they only stayed a few seconds...So IE, if Triage is there, wait a min or two...I am quickly replying to a post and check every few minutes :)...

OH yeah it has been a blast! I have really enjoyed chatting and meeting people and have come to light up when I see certain people log in :) :) :)! Quite a delight! And helping students...that is a blast too, I wanted to be a nursing teacher...so it is kinda nice to be able to do it.

Well, I will try to be on chat later today...I have over 300 bulbs I HAVE to plant today..LOL! But I have the computer to myself today, DSL is finally working, and good to go :)....

Maybe see ya all there!!!!!!!

Excellent idea! Every time I start talking about the Lord, non-Christians get annoyed, and I get frustrated because they just don't get it that Christians actually enjoy getting together, talking about the Lord, and praying for one another.

And boy could I use some prayer now. :(

8 am - 6 pm is ok with me

I have been working in the US as a nurse and the stress is tremendous. I was wondering if there is another job as a nurse but not working in the hospital but pays well
