Report was done, my stethoscope slung around my neck, and my orientee was on my heels. It was time for another day on the ward. I showed my orientee how to print off the MAR, sift through the orders, find the physician info and translate the orders into tasks. We reviewed my first patient's H&P, his most recent vitals, and the previous day's primary team note.
