Oh, and ANM and NM. I don't like charge.
I suppose I'm not as well rounded as you all as I have worked in school nursing since day 1 of becoming a licensed RN. But I feel into the job as brand new RN and loved it and I'm still here more than 5 years later.
I did have a more diverse resume pre-nursing, however, as nursing was a second career for me. That includes: Publishing Administration, Theater administration, and 7 years of higher education administration and course counseling work in the sciences. During nursing school I also worked for disability services at my school.
I've been a nurse for almost 16 years-
Med-Surg (brief)
Emergency Dept (brief- liked the job, hated the hours)
Mental Health (I've worked on a geriatric unit, general adult psych, and an adolescent behavioral health unit- I liked all three)
Outpatient research- various conditions, but mostly hypertension
School nurse since Aug of 2017. This is my favorite. Nothing will ever beat the schedule!
