Linfield College, Portland - 2016-17

Hi, I just applied to Linfield College in Portland, OR. Are there any former BSN students from these places? Or others who just applied? Would love to connect.

I have also read that Linfield is not strong in clinicals - is this still true? As a graduate, would you still recommend the college? Any info would be super helpful!

I got in!!! I just got an email from Linfield saying to contact them if you didn't receive a letter in the mail. So I did and they told me that I was admitted to the summer cohort! I AM SO EXCITED!! :woot:

Congrats! After reading your comment, I checked my email and I did receive the same email asking to contact them if I did not receive a decision letter. I emailed back that I didn't get a letter, but I haven't heard back yet. If they ask you that does that mean you are accepted? I assume that if I am rejected they wouldn't bother to email me asking if I got a letter......or maybe I am wait-listed. So nervous right now waiting to hear back from the email.

I got an email saying my decision had been returned to them in the mail.

:/ If they're asking people to call mine probably isn't good news. I was just asked to confirm my address.

Just got an email and they attached scans of my acceptance letter and other docs. Yay I got accepted! I will go join the FB group.

I think it is stupid though that they would email someone for confirmation of address...they should just email the decision at this point.

I contacted admissions today and was told that I am top 10 on the Waitlist for summer start. She said that she will be sending the top 10 more information this week.

I have a small dog moving with me to Portland. Linfield housing doesn't allow dogs. So I will be looking for off-campus housing. If you also have a small pet and want to be roommates, let me know :-)
