Lindsey Koi Pants

Nurses Uniform/Gear

Published

Hi everyone!

I love the look of the Lindsey style Koi bottoms but I'm worried about my big thighs! I currently have a few pairs of the Koi Morgans and they fit my thighs fine. Wondering if anyone has both styles and can offer a comparison?

Thanks!

Personally, I've found many styles of Koi to either fit as expected or run slightly on the small side. However, I have no firsthand experience with the style of bottoms you mentioned.

I understand WHY the moderators tend to move threads, but sometimes people post to places such as the general nursing forum because it is likely to get the most traffic. Most users likely don't visit the Nursing Scrubs/Uniform forum and she has a decreased chance of her question being answered due to the decreased traffic to that part of the site.

I can understand and appreciate your viewpoint...

However, what is the point of having multiple forums if everyone posts everything in one forum? Many of our established members complain about the sheer number of topics in the General Nursing Discussion forum that can (and should) be moved elsewhere. For instance, that forum will be inundated with student topics if we don't stay on top of it, yet there's a plethora of student forums that can better accommodate those threads. It's the same story for the mountain of nurse practitioner / CRNA queries.

Certain forums are less trafficked, but we cannot keep everything in the General forum. After all, it would be pointless to have other forums.

I mostly wear the Lindsay. They are my mainstay. I have 1 pair of Morgan's. I don't like the Morgan's because of the high waist band and if I fold it, I feel like I'm wearing low cut pants.

I probably have "big" thighs, and a big bottom. I like my Lindsay's a lot!

I think you will be okay trying a pair of Lindsay's.

However, now that I think of it, the Morgan's are softer, perhaps more relaxed or perhaps just a material difference. It's like wearing pajamas! Which is beneficial when I want super comfort.

But I wore Lindsay's daily as a FT LVN and also wear them as an RN student.

Yes, this is a very good point. I ultimately agree, I just want everyone to recieve the best answers possible.

I wear Koi Lindsey pants for the last few years. I don't have much hips & thighs so I don't have too many issues in that area. I do like the mid-rise, variety of colors & different lengths. I don't like that they wrinkle more than my old scrubs (sorry, an iron would fix that but i don't iron my scrubs).

Why don't you try them on for fit?

I found that the material on Koi Lindsey wasn't very sturdy and they would last maybe 9 months with regular washes after every shift. My personal fave is the Youtility Gen Flex by Dickies. I think they wear like iron, the colors stay true even when using the dryer, and they fit my big butt and thighs. I have yet to have the fabric where my thighs rub get thin and blow out like the Kois did.

Good to know. I am going to take a look at them!

Don't know about the Koi Morgans but I LOVE the Lindsay Kois!! I am 5'3 150 (nursing school LB's ) and bought the medium. I have some thighs but a J. Lo butt. I originally got the size small when I first started nursing school around 135 lbs. Both are cute! You could order both styles or sizes from amazon and return with their free returns :)
