License of Endorsement for NY? Where do I begin?

Good evening everyone,

I'm a newly licensed RN from NJ. I'm new to this site as a member but I've certainly come here many time for answers.

My question for right now is about the license of endorsement for NY. I have a current, active, license in New Jersey but I would also like to apply to have a license in New York as well. I've read through many of the past threads about this same subject but a few problems have come up from that:

1) The links bring me to nothing

2) Once I navigate around the NY BON, I'm not too sure I'm even in the right place or know which forms to fill out.

This link has many forms. But what do I fill out? All of them? And where do I send them?

I'd really like to get this process kicked off ASAP so if any1 knows the process, please let me know.

Hello to everyone.I am new in this forum and it seems helpful upon reading different experiences with regards to NY RN endorsement. Well, on my part I'm done with everything the CVS (already reported to NYSED), form 1 and the 2 trainings (already submitted to the board) and lastly the form 3 (already submitted to California BRN). So my question would be, how long will it takes before the NYSED issue my license?

Usually with International trained they meet once a month so will depend when you submitted application and when they meet. If you have just missed their meeting date will have to wait for the next one

Almost done filling out the NY application (endorsement) & have sent verification from my home state.

My question is about the very specific dates for grade school/high school, etc. Does anybody remember these dates or am I the only person to not recollect the day I entered grade school. Also, I'm from a military family & attended about 4 different grade schools. I can't even remember the names of the schools.

I just got done wading through all that a couple weeks ago and what I basically did was put in approximate dates. I think I would just write down the city and state (if you remember that much) and approximate dates and put in a note that you were military family and don't remember names. And my dates were kinda weird too because I did elementary school in 7 years and high school in 5. Plus I completed homeschool high school and got my GED so I just put it all in. My name just showed up on the registry a couple days ago so apparently that was sufficient.

how long did it take to get a NY license? Did you use NURYS or did you have to verify original license with your BON. TIA.

I went through the same process of trying to figure out which schools I went to. I had 9 different schools throughout and had to just use my best estimates of what these dates were. Waiting on my NYS license now and hoping that it doesn't become an issue!

I hope this thread is still active. Guys, can you tell me how long it takes to get an endorsement for NY license? I currently work in MA and planning to move there soon. Is applying for job too soon as I just started my license endorsement process. Thanks. K

My original RN License was issued in NY. I was active in NY until I moved out of State. I obtained my out-of-state licence, but now I want to renew my NY RN license by endorsement. Anyone know how to accomplish this? Which forms do I need? Thank you!

Have you checked out the BON website and looked into endorsing license ?

Hi.

I am from the Phils and has TX license, which just expired (because I don't want to spend extra for the TX renewal when my NY license is underway). I started my NY endorsement last March of 2017 and it's been a year already and I still don't have my license yet. The NYSED representative said my endorsement has been approved already and I'll just have to wait for the license. That was a month ago already but no progress. They sent an e-mail that they "lost" my form 1 and was asked to secure another copy to them, so I did. A week after, they asked a copy of my secondary (high school) diploma. What is this for? Now I am very anxious with this.
