Hi RNs! I need help/opinion/info..
i applied at New Mexico to take NCLEX and took the exam in Hong Kong, i luckily passed the exam. I am now to endorse my license to Florida, and i have read the procedure of endorsement application to Florida. It says there that i need to obtain a fingerprint card again, it lead me to the website where i can order a card but then only US residents can avail it because the address to fill up is within USA only. Does anyone knows where to purchase/order a Florida fingerprint card for non US residents?
:typingDoes any body here have endorse his/her license to florida from other states?
Since you don't have a California License you can't have it endorsed. You can request to have you results from you NCLEX forwarded and you have to start the application process in Florida.
Also see Ghilbert's post regarding that Nursing does not require BSN as a minimum standard of practice. And one year of practice even in a Specialty area does not equal advanced practice. You are treading on thin ice if you plan to make the USA your home and not a temporary job.

Thank you very much. I really have to consider a lot of things here after hearing all these things. Im glad you're all there to guide me and give lots of inputs.
But I do not know how to go through about what you said that I can request for my NCLEX results be forwarded to florida? If I'll take that step, what type of application will I be having with Florida? Is it still application through endorsement? or another type of application for licensure?
Pardon me for having too many questions. I really hope you dont mind... I just need your help so badly.
I am thinking now of just getting an agency to help me with this

You do not need an agency to do this for you, we can assist for free :)
You need to complete application license by exam and meet requirements for foreign trained nurse that means CES or other acceptable evaluation and then write to Ca requestion they forward your NCLEX results. Usually a small fee and if you do a search there have been a couple of threads recently discussing this

Hi,
here I am again with more questions. I hope you will be patient enough to help me.
I have gone through the application procedures in applying for a Licensure by Endorsement in FLorida and one of the requirements is the LIcensure Verification in California.
Can I apply for License Verification in California even without the SSN yet? Because it is in their guidelines that:
"We encourage you to not submit your application for licensure by endorsement before you request a license verifications from your original and one active state of licensure. This will avoid processing delays caused by submission of a deficient application."
ANd I am also confused with this:
"THe FLorida Board of NUrsing requires verfication of licensure from your original state of licensure and from a state in which you have a current active license (they can be the same state). "
I currently hold a license in the Philippines as a registered nurse, does this mean I do not need to have my license in the PHilippines verified since what is stated here is "state of licensure and from a state in which you have a current active license." It did not mention about country. However as stated above, they also have it there "We encourage you to not submit your application for licensure by endorsement before you request a license verifications from your original and one active state of licensure". I am really confused about this.
I need your help about this.
THank you very much
