Libertarian Healthcare

I'm a libertarian nurse. Ask me anything.

Great jimminies he's back!! And has yet to master the quote feature. Really, OP, it is not difficult and will make your thread so much easier to follow.

...The basic ideal for many libertarians is the Non or Zero Aggression Principle. Random violence is aggression, and should not be tolerated...

As opposed to everyone else that wants more random violence??

Do you really think that Big Pharma isn't right in there making the rules?

Now you're asking us questions? Really, this is getting ridiculous. Are you morally opposed to the quote button?

I don't believe there is a conspiracy, just ignorance.

Yeah, there seems to be a lot of that on this thread.

And you think that giving those same people power through government is a better idea?

SMH. Instead of using the quote feature, just assume about any of OPs messages are applicable.

I only hate collectivism, or the notion that individuals should be forced to participate in whatever the powers that be decide is the common good.

Affordable Health Care would be great. I'm OK with labor organizations as long a participation is voluntary. Why would anybody hate education?

Libertarians are great team players. They aren't very good at being forced to do things, especially when those things are clearly detrimental to the common good.

Whenever I think of a Libertarian, I picture Ron Swanson. Who, despite our political differences, is a fantastic fictional character.

Even in that "horrible" Gilded Age things were steadily getting better for the common man.

Markets respond to the public interest and generally gets it right. Those who aren't right go out of business. Centralized planners tell the public what its interest is and when it is wrong causes shortages which leads to rationing and in the long run cause disasters like the starvation we've seen in socialist countries.

Ohhh, I got it! OP is a socialist trying to make libertarians look silly.

Harsh. He's giving decent answers now, but I wish we knew what the questions are.

I like Ron Swanson. The character is a parody, but a gentle one.
