Here are three hospitals in NYC that I know of: Bellevue Hospital, Harlem Hospital, and St. Vincent's Hospital. I am not sure whether Roosevelt Hospital of Continuum and the NYP hospitals are also Level I trauma centers.
Good luck.

Westchester Medical Center is a level-one trauma and burn center, located at the lower region of the Hudson Valley. Also has STAT flight units.
Albany Medical Center, too, is level one. Not sure if you mean NYS, or NYC?

Bellevue is a big name. We always hear it in the news whenever someone jumped into the subway track or fell from a six story building. The hospital is willing to put you right into the Trauma Unit regardless of your experience in nursing. Most importantly, the Trauma Center right there is always busy.
Good luck!

Out of these Level 1 Trauma Centers, which is the best to work for and in the safest area? I'm looking to do Traveling Nursing there this summer...
