  1. Does anyone know what GRE scores are generally accepted for FNP programs? I'm looking to apply to Old Dominion University and their requirements just say greater than 300.
  2. I just recently relocated and started a new job about 2 months ago. I was at my previous job for about a year and a half since I had graduated nursing school. Some of the older nurses at my new job are very friendly but I've found it hard to get in good with some of the nurses closer in age to me. Any suggestions on how to gain some credibility and respect from everyone?
  3. Don't go into nursing if you are unable to put aside personal prejudices and feelings about different types of people. For example, you may have to take care of prisoners, drug addicts, the homeless, illegal immigrants, etc. Our personal opinions cannot affect our care towards anyone and this is very difficult for some nurses.
  4. Thanks. Where are you currently practicing? Was it hard to find a job? What about pay? Do you feel like you're making a lot more with the agency?
  5. Does anyone know anything about American Traveler? I signed up with them online a few weeks ago and am looking to traveling nursing in NYC this summer. I'm totally new to all this so any feedback would be great!
  6. Out of these Level 1 Trauma Centers, which is the best to work for and in the safest area? I'm looking to do Traveling Nursing there this summer...
