hI, I HAVE CURRENTLY NOT FILED FOR THE EMPLOYMENT BASED GREEN CARD THOUGH I FOUND AN EMPLOYER ONE WHO IS WILLINGLY TO DO THAT FOR ME.I GRADUATE IN 4 WEEKS AND I WILL BE STARTING THE PROCESS THEN. MY COUNTRY IS NOT IN BACK LOG OF VISA NUMBERS.mY SISTER JUST GOT HER GREEN CARD THROUGH HER HUSBAND WHO IS A MEDICAL DOCTOR SND IT TOOK THEM 8 MONTHS FROM FILLING TO GREEN CARD ISSUANCE. iTS THAT THE SAME FOR NURSES?AND WILL BE THE RETROGRESSION BE OVER ANY TIME SOON?I AM THINKING OF TRYING CANADA IF THERE WILL STILL BE RETROGRESSION IN PLACE.MY EAD EXPIRES OCTOBER 08,BUT I WANT A GREEN CARD BEFORE THEN.I START NP SCHOOL IN JANUARY AND I REALLY DONT WANT TO PAY OUT OF STATE AND HUGE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FEE.I AM ALSO PLANNING TO GO HOME IN APRIL TOO.WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE?BUT NEVERTHELESS THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY.

Hello Suzanne, I got a hospital here that decided to petition for me.I just sent my documents to the lawyer.Its the retrogression over?what is the process now?I was surprised that they agreed to?The recruiter also told me that they petition all the time.I dont graduate till Aug 07 and they have started the process already.

Hi, what it means is that you can use that liscense to practice in any state that has the compact liscense e.g New jersey without having to go through the endorsement.I am currently in memphis,Tn,i graduate in August and hope to take my boards that same month,then i will cross my fingers and see what currently happens.Dont you qualify for OPT?i qualify for OPT and i am currently getting a lot of experience working as a nurse extern in one of memphis hospitals.whats the name of the Nursing home?you can go in there or look for anyone who works there?

Hi Susan, I have a friend in michigan that her employer recently filed for her and for the benefir of those who want to know the Hospital name is called Sparrow hospital Lansing,Mi.i told her that she will need Visa screen and she argued it with me.we called CGFNS and cgfns said as long as immigration told her that she does not need it then she dosent and she said her lawyer told her that she does not need it.so i am confused here.CGFNS said it also depends on the state that she is going to work and not all states require it.
