Letters of Acceptance to Golden West College?

Hi there...anyone receive their letters to take the TEAS V for Golden West College for Fall 2011? Thought I would start a thread for those of us who did and may have questions for each other.

Maybe we're all alternates :eek:

Maybe? I wonder how many alternates there are going to be.

Well, the update they posted last week said most of us waiting for letters are alternates, and it stands to reason the alternate list would be longer than the admitted list since they have to figure some alternates may not pass the TEAS while others may commit to other programs. Oh the joys of speculation!

I hate being compulsive, this waiting created all sorts of compulsive behaviors...waiting for the mail lady, checking the mail, checking the website, checking the blog...aaahhh!!!

Nothing either.... We ALL got in for Spring... its just a formality now so be patient. Crossing my fingers that I am right! =)

Praise God!!!! I got a Spring 2012 acceptance letter today :o I was crying :crying2: when I opened the letter, I was, and am, sooooooooo excited! Thanks everyone for all of your posts! I will be praying for you!

My friend also received a letter stating that she is conditionally accepted for Spring 2012, if there is any available spot during fall 2011 they will notify her provided she will pass the TEAS exam. I am happy for her.

Does anyone knows the odd of getting in as an alternate? I have heard there is a good chance of getting accepted once you're on the A.L. I was an alternate last year; however I did not take the TEAS b/c we were moving up to the Bay area.

I was on the alternate list to and did not get in yesterday. I understand that if they say you are on the alternate list and tell you to take the TEAS, then u r in. I didn't get anything today. =(

WhyBrat,

Were u on the A.L last year and did they ask u to take the TEAS? They ask me to take the TEAS, but I didn't b/c of the moving. I have not rec'd anything either today. I'm assuming whoever left that have not gotten a letter are all alternate.
