Letters of Acceptance to Golden West College?

Hi there...anyone receive their letters to take the TEAS V for Golden West College for Fall 2011? Thought I would start a thread for those of us who did and may have questions for each other.

By reading the thread and via other people I spoke to, all of those who where asked to go in and take the TEAS, where fit into the program. I was only told I was on the alternate list, but was not invited to take the TEAS. I called and asked if I should take it anyways and they said no, chances are I would not get in.

You already got ur alternate letter for this upcoming school year? I thought they weren't being mailed out till later this month?:confused:

No I was alternate last year, with no invite to take TEAS...I never made it in. Did anyone apply to Saddleback?

Thanks! I'm just hoping all of us from this thread waiting for our alternate letters will be asked to take the TEAS, so all of us can get in the program.

I'm honestly a little surprised there aren't more spring acceptance letters in this thread! Someone in here said they knew about 15 people who also hadn't received any notices. Maybe those lucky folks got acceptances! I also hope we all find a space in the program soon. I'm certain we all deserve it.

No letter for me either....such a rollercoaster. Going to try NOT to put myself through same waiting for Saddleback, they send their letters out mid may. Hopefully we are all TEAS alternates!

I applied at Saddleback, but won't hear anything till mid to late May if I was accepted. I also haven't received anything from Golden West....so I'm assuming I am an alternate. Golden West won't be sending out alternate letters till the end of May. Hopefully I'll get into one of these programs for the fall.

Alternate Letters Are Mailed Out

The last group of mailing has been mailed out; it could take up to a week before the letter gets to you.* If you don’t receive a letter by mid May, please contact the Nursing Office at (714) 895-8285.

:crying2: I guess this means I did not make it in this year again. I am really not excited to be an alternate again. I shall pray for us all. Luck Everyone.

I got my alternate letter today, inside was a green slip of paper stating the TEAS V test dates, does this mean I've been invited to take the TEAS and that my chances of getting in are good or did everyone receive this green-slip along with their alternate letter. :confused:

I haven't received a letter today. I'm surprised because I only live about 4 streets down from the school. :confused:
