Letters of Acceptance to Golden West College?

Hi there...anyone receive their letters to take the TEAS V for Golden West College for Fall 2011? Thought I would start a thread for those of us who did and may have questions for each other.

Haven't received anything yet.

Nothing for me yet either nomsa. I am reeeeeeally hoping to hear something (hopefully something good) this week.

Sorry for the confusion, I mentioned wait-list and I should have stated 'alternate' for fall. So with that clarification, has anyone received the letter that they are an alternate for this coming fall?

I got it like 2-3 days ago. They said they would send out all rejected mails first, then the Alternate within 3 wks. Good luck to you !:up:

So spring acceptance has already been mailed out for sure??

Wait, I haven't heard of anyone who got in for spring 2012. Are you sure the only letters to go out still are alternate letters? I know at least 15 people who haven't gotten any letters yet. Thanks :)

Did they say that in the letter you got? Or did you call the Nursing Office? Thanks :heartbeat

I just called the nursing office. She said most of what still needs to go out are alternate letters with instructions inside, and those could take all the way until the end of May to be received. She also said spring acceptance letters have already gone out.

I had this bad feeling in my gut, so I called again. The woman I spoke to this time said acceptance letters for Spring 2012 should be going out this week. :)

She said after that one mass mailing will be sent out in May for alternates.

I was feeling lucky and asked if she could check to see what my personal status was, but she said she wouldn't be willing to do searches like that until all the mailings had been sent out. Shucks! It was worth a shot. Anyway, this news puts me in much better spirits and the feeling in my tummy has eased. Good luck to us all!

After I saw your msg, I called and spoke with the lady in the nursing office. Spring acceptance letters HAVE NOT gone out!!! She told me that Spring Conditional Acceptance letters are going out this Friday. After that mailing, what left are alternate letters.
