hi everyone! i'm holli. i took boards on june 13th and passed with 75 questions. i am starting work on july 18th at the only hospital i ever wanted to work for. it is a great pediatric facility! i will be on the (post-op) surgical floor, and we also have all of the endocrine kids. also, they just added an epilepsy monitoring unit, for overnight monitoring and for the brain mapping they are doing. i expressed an interest in that, so they will cross-train me in that unit as well. i can't wait to get started!

so, tell me about you...

holli, rn

Hi Holli,

I'm Joan and I start the L.V.N. program in March of 2009. It seem like such a long time, but I'm sure it will come up fast! Congrats to all that have taken their boards. I haven't even started and I'm already nervous. Any suggestions on what I can be doing while I'm waiting for class to begin?

I have over twenty years of experience in paraprofessional positions. I started out as a Medical Assistant way back in 82. I look forward to any responses and will also post as well.

Wish me luck!:)

hi i am ac, i graduated last march 2008 and took my boards last november 29th. dunno the results yet but i sure do hope i did well. until recently i feel like i was not meant to be a nurse (anxiety, i guess, for the board results). however, a read a post about being a new nurse and somehow it rekindled my passion to become a nurse and how i enjoyed my days as a student. :redpinkhe :wink2:
