Lessons to be Learned - Please read

this is an appeal for honest examinations. the june 2007 nle is fast approaching and may this exam be an honest and orderly one.

this also goes for the cgfns exams held in the pi and the nclex exams done outside pi. authorities responsible for foreign exams are serious in revoking any licenses or withholding scores or results from these exams if found guilty of leaking exam questions taken from the exam.

also, even though an nclex testing center is already agreed upon by principles there has been no word on when and where in the pi will it be held and they can always revoke the agreement anytime when results of the up-coming june 2007 nle wasn't an honest and orderly one. an actual and fully operational nclex test center was actually closed down in south korea because of leakage.

the actions of a few affects others significantly.

I'm sorry but I'm one of those who passed the June 06 exam with out the leakage that is.... I also Reviewed in SLRC, we did not recive any leakage, i know of some revciew centers that have recieved that said leak but I'm not naming names.

Here in the Philippines It's a usal practice for review centers and also the In-house revies in colleges/universities to show their students past questions on the board, for us to be familiarized on how the exam works...

this has been going on for ages.... I'm sure you also have experienced that.

I'll have you know that those people who claimed tho have reviewd in those review centers that passed out the leakage didn't even pass the exam... getting the answers to the exam and still failling... that's just plain stupid...

Everything has been said and done, could we just put it to rest.. we're really trying our best to put the issue behind us.

THE 2006 Nursing Board Exam controversy rooted from the PRC Nursing officials, not from the examinees themselves. What could have been the power of the takers but to seek help from individuals in higher position.

Graduates shall not be ever blamed fully but rather partially for such is primarily caused by unruly and faked PRC officials.

Good luck to this years sets of examinees.Surely,God will help.

Sorry, but just because it is the practice of these centers to hand out previous questions does not make it a legal practice. In the US they would face a jail sentence for that.

And there is absolutely no reason to show a student previous questions to give them an idea of what to look for in an exam. All of my students have passed their exams the first time and I do not give them questions taken from any exam.

This is not a good practice to be involved in. And employers in the US are actually now asking which review center that nurses attended. They are well aware of what has been going on over there, and that is why it is so much harder for a nurse to get petitioned by a hospital in the US at this time if they graduated in the last couple of years there in PI.

Condoning a practice that is done, but is illegal is not a good thing, and frowned upon in the US.

i don't understand why the government can't put these people behind bars.

They can, but they have not. And the centers are still open and these centers are still raking in the money.

Shame that money can buy things like this and grease the pockets of those that keep them open. And shame on those that accept the money.
