Moved to a thread on it's own as you posted in a thread a few years old. If doing Saunders book I would consider Suzanne's plan. See the stickies for information

It Depends What Date You Picked For Your Exam WHILE IT TOOK ME 2MTHS BECOS I HAVE KIDS AND I COULD ONLY DO 2 CHP per day

if the chapters were long like in adult nursing.. i did 1 chapter a day or part of a chapter, then id make up for it the next day.. if its short chapters i could only do like 3 or 4 max. and when i get sleepy id watch some tv or surf the net, then do some chapters again once boredom has subsided..hehe:D

Big and most important question:

Why are you actually reading the book? There is no way that someone is going to realistically read it in just two weeks or so and remember everything that they read. That is not what it is designed for, but to be a resource for you.

There just is not any reason to read it from front to back.

Bigger question should be what will you even remember if you are pushing yourself to read it?

Hello! Actually im using your tips Ms. Suzzane but i admit that i cant even reach @ 75% in the quizzes mostly i can only get 50-60% that's why i am reading the chapters, as what indicated on your tips and that's y i think i really have too read it..thanks for all the response..godbless

If you are not getting that high of a score, I would stop with the Saunder's book and focus on completing a reading comprehension course first.

This will help you much better in the long run.

How are you doing once you read the information?

Most should have only a handful to ten chapters that they need to read to have the best chance of passing this exam. When you have to read more than that, you are going to need more of a review first with concentration on other things first.

hello Ms. suzanne thanks for the response so far i guess there's a lil changes from the first day i started reading Saunders there are chapters that i can get75% or higher sometimes, and i can read 4-5chapters now in a day unlike on the first 3dys i think i got too overwhelmed with the book coz its been 1yr when i graduated and didnt review or read that much after i graduated and took the local board, so far im happy that atleast i can read4-5chap/day now, looking forward to finish reviewing it and gain more knowledge that i can use when my nclex date comes..

By the way after the first tips, to have the 2nd tip you have to post 15 messages here right?? was the message that ive been posting before is counted or only related facts regarding nclex that we needed to post here..thanks and good day!:nuke:
