Hey guys,
Does anyone know if chem 166 is used as a substitute for chem 114 or do you have to take chem 114?
I took gen chem at my first school but it was not transferred in as an equivalent to chem 114 so does not appear on my lehman transcript where my other prereqs show up. I took chem 114 after transferring so which grade would they look at?

When you give them your credit transfer report the Gen chem you took at your last school would transfer to whatever is equivalent to. If it's not equivalent to 114 then they will be looking at chem 114 grade that you took at Lehman
Hey, I’m taking my Hesi next month and I am freaking out studying for the A&P section. Can you please tell me what major topics were covered on the A&P portion of the exam?
@Rachel.Fit27 Hi!
It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve taken the exam. Since we are tested on 4 different categories is hard to remember anything after you’re done. Is a mix of everything basically. I used the pocket prep app and the book!
Thanks for your response. Yeah. It seems that PA may be the way to go. I am still considering my options. Just sucks, because I just KNEW in my head that my plan was solid. I guess, not so much, eh?

P.A and MD school focuses on the medical model but if you want to learn the nursing model then go for it! I think you should read the school’s policy or talk to someone from the nursing department, most schools let you re-take science courses that are older than ten years! Just do some more research and follow your heart! Whatever you decide to do you will be great!

Considering becoming nurse practitioner we do the same as a PA

They will not look at your 166 grade just 114. Read the nursing student handbook you can find it by giggling Lehman college department of nursing handbook
Hi,
I have a really pressing question regarding admission to Lehman's program. The Nursing Department's site states that the HESI A2 can only be taken once, yet I believe that the undergrad. advisor mentioned to me in a previous conversation that a retake is possible for students who scored low in a particular area. Does anyone know if the exam can be taken again? If so, how do you go about scheduling a retake, since parametric doesn't show anymore available tests for Lehman.

I think if the pre-reqs are older than 10 years, you can retake them and the old grades won't matter. But then again, contact the school to confirm. Also, if they do allow retakes (in your case), will you want to spend a year or so to retake those courses?

@ILoveGreen you did great on the HESI! Congrats. How did you study for A&P and CT portion?
