Im going to be applying to Lehman's Generic BSN program for fall 2017 and I was wondering what my chances of getting accepted are. So far I have a 3.73 pre req gpa and in the process of taking microbiology and organic chemistry lab and lecture. I hope to get it to a 3.8 if I get A's for these 3 classes. As for my Hesi score, I got a 92 overall, 92 for Reading Comprehension, 94 for Math, 92 for A&P and 90 for Critical Thinking. If anyone who has previously been accepted could share their stats with me that would be great! Also, if you're applying for generic Fall 2017 as well you're welcome to share them too so we can see how competitive this year is! I've heard 3.5 is the cut off but I'm sure it depends on the year. Thanks everyone!
Hi!
I actually went to a second degree nursing information session earlier this year. And the advisor said that we won't hear from the nursing department until June pretty much. They will not start reviewing applications now. And the application must be submitted in person, I guess that is your delivery confirmation.
Hey guys. I am taking the HESI later this month with hopes of getting into Lehmans program in the fall. Is there any chem, bio, or physics on the exam?? The book I have contains these subjects, but when I look at Lehman's page as well as comments such as these, I only see math, reading comp, critical thinking, and A&P sections. Someone pls let me know, I'm worried as I've never taken physics and am not strong in chemistry. Thank you!
Thank You!! Any tips you want to share about the HESI?
Sorry if you've taken the test already but my biggest tip is to RELAX. I know it's hard but if you've studied a lot and contiously got high scores on practice exams, you should do well. Don't overthink anything either. Read all answer choices!
As for the individual subjects; Use the HESI book for math and you should be fine. Make sure you do the practice problems! For reading comprehension, there really isn't a way to study it but most of the questions can be answered by simply reading the passage. If you are normally good at reading comprehenson, you should be fine. For A&P, you definitely need to study outside of the HESI book. Know the bones of the body, the body systems (especially the endocrine & circulatory system), joints. I personally didn't really study for critical thinking but people have used Youtube videos to study for that. Hope I helped somewhat. Good luck!

Sorry to bother, but I would very much appreciate some help. I have just submitted my application and supporting documents. I spoke to a very sweet lady at the nursing department who accepted my documents. I was hoping to get some sort of confirmation, either email, or a number - anything. When you submitted your applications, did you get anything as proof of receipt?
