I just got to discouraged LOL I attended their informational and about 6% acceptance.... woah not at all what I expected

Yeah, I’m not even applying, that’s ridiculous. Freaking CA nursing schools are brutal.

They do only take 40 students but it's a complete lottery so I think it's worth applying! Saddleback takes around 40-55, Golden West takes around 45, Santa Ana college takes only 40 in the Spring so I believe a lot of programs are in this same range. Most are based on points. I think it would be silly not to give it a shot?‍♀️

Yes same here I am still applying but it's crazy they'd have lottery knowing how many people apply LOL

Does anyone know if you first have to apply to the school?

Can you just apply to the nursing program?

Yes you can apply without being a student ?

I just finished the application. It's pretty easy. Just make sure to include your Unofficial transcripts and other supporting documents. It's free, so there's no reason not to apply.

To anyone thinking they won't get accepted b/c of grades, you should still apply. They take into consideration the number of time you've applied. You likely won't get in the first time, but your 2nd & 3rd try are more likely to get you in (assuming your grades are decent).

From what I was told, first time people have the same chance as long as they're above a 3.5 since they take half of applicants from that pool. Good luck!

Hi everyone,

For the Supporting Documentation, we attach the Equivalency form and the unofficial transcript. Am I missing anything?

Does anyone know if the GPA includes overall GPA as well or science pre-requisites? What is calculated to our GPA? Thank you!

They choose lottery based on highest science grades, but they look at overall as well in case of a tie-breaker

Hi everyone! If anyone would like to merge their documents into a single pdf there is this free site called https://www.kamiapp.com/. You can merge PDFs into a single one ? Hope this helps!
