  1. I’m in SoCal and my program, as well as a lot of the ADN programs around my area, work with different schools/uni so students can start the BSN bridge after their first year. An ex coworker of mine started hers last Summer and just graduated her ADN program in May. She mentioned that the second half she cannot start until she passes her NCLEX. I’m not sure if that’s true with every program but I would just ask your school and any BSN programs what the requirements are!
  2. I was in the same scenario and just retook the class at another CC that was in a different district! Most CC programs take the second attempt. Good luck! - Starting nursing school this fall
  3. Hi! I was actually referring to Santa Ana but I do know someone currently at LAHC and they say that the program is brutal but I guess it’s known to be that way. If I was closer to LAHC I’d go there. For my situation, every minute counts! I’m not sure exactly what makes it brutal enough for them to have that high of an attrition rate but I believe that no matter where we go, it’s going to be difficult and we’re going to have to make a lot of sacrifices to excel!
  4. I think a BSN is a BSN no matter if you went straight to a 4 year program or did the RN-BSN bridge!
  5. Do you mean graduating and then doing an RN-BSN program later on? I’m not sure, I guess it depends on the job and when you plan on doing it..? I have a friend who’s about to graduate from Glendale and she started a bridge program the Summer after her first 2 semesters. So my plan is to do something like that as well just to get it done!
  6. Hi! I'm located in Costa Mesa so my #1 choice was Santa Ana. I have an almost 3 year old so having to drive 40min (LAHC) vs like 10-15min to SAC really makes a difference. Plus, I know a few people that went there and really liked the program! Their NCLEX pass rate is above 90 which matters too
  7. I’ve seen that is a common thing on this site. I don’t think anyone has made one!
  8. Hi all! I got in as an alternate but will be declining because I already got into my #1 choice. Hope that helps someone here!
  9. Hi all, I got accepted as well! Good luck to everyone!
  10. Got rejected here too. Good luck to everyone !
  11. Has anyone heard anything...?
  12. Oh there we go. yea I’m a new applicant so that’s why I’d only be considered for fall cohort Yea.I just saw the previous message. I get it now. Sorry long day with a 2.5 year old ?
  13. I guess I don’t understand why one would say denial and the other wouldn’t?
