Lawson State fall 2017

Hello everyone I would like to congratulate everyone who made it into this falls (2016) cohort. I will be applying to Lawsons fall 2017 cohort. I am creating this forum for those who are currently in the program that would like to encourage the next class and also let us know what to expect and for those applying to the 2017 cohort. Lets also post scores as we complete classes and take the ACT. So far I have taken bio 103, micro, eng, a&p 1, psych 1& 2, humanity, and will be taking a&p 2 and math 100 this miniterm and will be taking hps 103 and mth 186 in January. Oh and also remember no question is a dumb question unless you dont ask it!!!

My student suite hasn't changed, but I received my letter today.

I only applied to bessemer both programs and got into the day/lpn program. Which God placed me there for a reason, and I now understand why- I need to get out and begin making money quicker as I go back for my RN due to some things that just happened. It's amazing how to places us where we need to be.

Anyways, did anyone else get into the LPN program at the bessemer campus?

Would y'all want to start a FB page?

Does anyone know how many class nights we will have for the evening program?

If you are in the Bessemer evening program it will be 3 classes in total Fundamentals, Pharmacology, and Health Assessment. Two will be on one night the other on another night.

Does anyone know how the day classes go for the first semester?

It will be 4 nights a week I think if I remember fundamentals was on mon and tue then pharm min and thur then health assessment on Wednesday Thursdays will eventually be used for clinicals. Don't quote me on this but this is the way i remember

Yes RN Bessemer evening. But I don't think there is much difference in the day program except the times will be in the morning.
