Wanted to start a thread for Lawson State Hopefuls Nursing Program SUMMER AND FALL 2016. Are there anyone that will be applying soon or already a Nursing student in the program already? I will be apply in a few months from now

Encouraging words that I cant even get from family and friends. Its easy for them to say dont stress or quit worrying. Im only feeling this way because this is what I want.

Yes.. Im just worried about finding a job with LPN since they are gettin rid of LPNs they already done it up north. I definitely dont want to work in a nursing home :/ so hoping if I did do that or RN I can get in at the VA instead.

If you withdraw out of class you must sit out until the class is offered again (usually two semester). You cannot progress without finishing all classes for a semester term.

I will say unless your family and friends have been through nursing school they just don't get the stress and toll it takes. I can't tell you how many friends I have made upset because I'm always studying. So I'm all about encouragement. Its not easy but its worth it. You will step on toes and they won't understand but stay focused on you and school. I tell my family/friends if you want me there I am bringing my book...don't like it? I'm not coming without it. Those who really have your back may not understand but won't try to make you choose

Hello, I have also applied and trying to wait patiently on the acceptance letters. It feels good to find a group that is currently where I am. LOL!

If that school you talking about in Marion, AL starts with a "J" just check there accreditation. I looked into that school and they are accepting everyone just about.
