Lawson state community college, Nursing Program 2016, ADN, LPN

Hi Everyone,

Wanted to start a thread for Lawson State Hopefuls Nursing Program SUMMER AND FALL 2016. Are there anyone that will be applying soon or already a Nursing student in the program already? I will be apply in a few months from now

I applied with 215 or 220 and I got in to RN. Sonnyq I think they may have added your point wrong. Two A's and one B gives you 80pts. 65 percent on TEAS gives you about 100pts if you took HPS that would be an additional 11. Your pts would be around 180-196 give or take a few pts

I was accepted last fall but just had to withdraw from one class, so i didn't have to apply to the program all over again. They only accepted me for lpn with thise scores, I think it was like a 270 for RN.

Sorry to ask you so many questions. So if someone need to withdraw from a class do that person have a chance to move on through the program or like with you, you had to reapply? I know that bio 220 class can be taking before the nursing program but not after the 3 semester. I know I would do good in that class because It seem like something Ill enjoy but was thinking that Ill mess up my chances of being in the program if I didnt. I am planning to work my butt of hard if I get into nursing. I have learned to learn a different way than what I was so used to so that I do good in nursing school.

I have a question since they arent changing the program this fall and still have the lpn and rn how will it work if I got offered lpn. How will it go next year ? Will I be considered to be in one program ?

If you withdraw out of class you must sit out until the class is offered again (usually two semester). You cannot progress without finishing all classes for a semester term.
