LATTC RN Spring 2020 Acceptance

Hi everyone, I made a thread for those students who are to start the LATTC nursing program Spring 2020! Hopefully this will be helpful! I applied Feb 2018 and I’m waiting for an acceptance letter. I was told I am to start Spring 2020. Hopefully I get an acceptance letter this Aug.

i have personally been waiting what will be 3 semesters by the end of this year without counting the first semester and i applied february 2018. I need to go to the school to update my phone number but im not sure if they are open yet.

Hey all, just wanted to update that us in the spring 2020 cohort got a survey email and should be completed before this months end. Letters will be sent september. So excited!!!

@george.s Congrats on being one step closer to starting the program in Spring! I did not get an email so must mean I have to wait more. I'm curious though, can you share what the survey email said? Did it ask questions like, "are you in a nursing program now" because I'm wondering if that email is to see which students do not need to be on the waitlist any longer as they have accepted other schools which then means the next list of students can be selected. That's just my thought process, though, I could be wrong.

Yeah the survey basically asks questions like that.

Sweet! I just completed my survey! So excited for my letter in Sept!

Thanks for the information! I'm hoping I can get in sooner than Fall 2020, but will not mind if that's what it comes to. Fingers crossed!! I'm excited for you all to finally get your letters!!

When did you apply? I applied Oct 2017 and haven't heard anything.

@Jay1212 I think you should have gotten an email from LATTC regarding the survey the previous users have just received since they have applied after you. Check your inbox and spam? Also try emailing Roshell (she's better at responding) and also email Angel since she is the one gathering the cohorts every semester. I have no luck calling as well, but I get responses when I email Roshell and Angel. Explain them your situation and when you applied.

Yeah you should have heard something already. I think you were supposed to start Fall 2019 if you applied Oct 2017. Last time I emailed Angel during spring semester she said she was contacting people who applied Aug and Sept 2017 so they could start Fall 2019. Maybe she contacted those who applied Oct back then too

Ya you definately should have gotten a survey in your email because it seems to be standard across the admitting process according to everyone. You may have not responded and accidentally forfeited because it did say failure to respond and you give up your spot. I hope thats not what happened.

Completed the survey as well . Turned in my application 2/27/18. Spring 2020 Cohort! Nervous/excited.
