Hi everyone, I made a thread for those students who are to start the LATTC nursing program Spring 2020! Hopefully this will be helpful! I applied Feb 2018 and I’m waiting for an acceptance letter. I was told I am to start Spring 2020. Hopefully I get an acceptance letter this Aug.

I am interested in this as well. I applied 02/21/2019
You should go and find out from Angel to see if your number is up. I am upset I finished my prerequisites in 2016 and had attended the workshop that August and at that time you didn’t have to RSVP to attend a workshop. I hurt my neck after that and had to wait to recover by the time I got into apply there was a 3 to 4 semester wait as opposed to a 1-2. This whole nursing thing has just taken so long. 4 years to finish prerequisites, 2 years to even apply, and now another 2 year wait.

Yeah, the wait is about two years to start. It was long, I suggest applying to other schools if possible. My grades aren’t the best, so I felt like I had no choice. I also didn’t want to go to private school because it’s so expensive!
Yes the wait equals to about two years. My grades aren’t the best either so here is my only choice I feel as well. I have heard some people are getting in sooner
Well I am excited to hear any updates. Please let us know if you are going to start for the fall semester.

Great job on making the page and as far as contacting anyone in the department, its been a difficult task. I called about 5 times throughout last week at different times of the day and nobody answered. Anything i should know about?
They don’t answer their phone most of the time. So my suggestion would be to go to the school and check. While I am not expecting to be notified this semester I will be going at the end of Summer to find out where I am and also to turn in my grades for Stats, and English 103 for the BSN.
So I feel like the best way to contact anyone is to email Roshell or Angel. If they don’t reply, going to the school directly is the next best option just because it’s a little out of the way for some people. I’ve never had anyone pick up the phone when I’ve called.
It is absolutely out of the way for me. I actually live in Thousand Oaks. This wasn’t my first choice of schools but truthfully I dropped Micro twice and they’re one of the only schools that don’t count Ws. I believe this isn’t the first choice for most people. Not my first choice but extremely grateful I get to even go. I have gotten them on the phone a couple times by sheer luck
I think theyre not picking up because its summer break usually they answer every time ive called during normal school schedules. If someone does make a trip to the school please update us. As far as i know the most current notification as of now is that we are awaiting acceptance letters sometime in August but no specific week.
