Hello everyone, I am applying to 4 different programs in Fall 2019. Does anyone here in the same boat with me? Lets get to know each other and share your experience. Good luck to all of you.

Sorry, I am not too sure if they're just assigning the #'s in a few weeks or actually calling out accepted "lotto" positions... She was very brief about it, and I didn't want to ask too many questions while she was passing out the TEAS booklets. We will find out soon enough! Stay patient guys! Hoping for some good news soon!

I went and applied to Valley College's nursing program today...their application is so vague...Only 1 page, and basically personal info only. I swear, this lotto system is ridiculous...I wonder if my chances of drowning or getting hit by lightning are higher than nursing school acceptance...LOL All jokes aside, let's all think positive...we'll get accepted soon enough!

...My friend just started at West Coast 2 weeks ago and she said they changed some of their requirements. They require a "bootleg" version of the TEAS for entrance into their nursing program, and it doesn't matter if you have already taken the TEAS before! They make you take their version of it, but it's supposedly easier, and it's incorporated into their classes...not sure exactly how that works...Makes me dread even thinking about going there if all other options fail... fingers crossed!!

I applied at Valley today also...the lady at the front said she thinks we will here back from them in June or July ?? hopefully she didn’t know what she was talking about. Early June will hopefully be the latest.

Unfortunately, she was right when she said we would hear about our admissions in June or July. I asked my friend who applied to their program for fall 2018 and she received a letter from them on July 3rd regarding her admissions. She did say that they may have sent out the acceptance letters sooner than that date because she got a rejection letter.

I hear you... the lotto is ridiculous! I also went to an info session to WC with a copy of my transcripts and was accepted on the spot for the April 1st cohort. What I didn't like was the fact that I already have a B.S. with all the prerequisites already done. They wanted me to pay for an extra year to retake the prereqs AGAIN and charge me about $40K for that year... I'm sorry, but I will keep my fingers crossed for CC programs.

Hi! I applied also at Valley and Pierce. I go into the lotto at Pierce so just waiting to hear back from them. ?

@Ingy06 how do you know you got into the lotto at Pierce? Do you mean you received a lotto number or just the email stating your application is complete?

I got an email saying that "upon reviewing your application, your status is eligible for the lottery"

I received an email on March 19 after sending my TEAS scores electronically. It says, “Application complete: no further action required; awaiting lottery.”

Was I supposed to receive another email after that if I’m still eligible for lottery? Or is that a current email for people who just took their teas there last week?
