LASW, LACC, LAHC, LA pierce - Fall 2019

Hello everyone, I am applying to 4 different programs in Fall 2019. Does anyone here in the same boat with me? Lets get to know each other and share your experience. Good luck to all of you.

May I ask what your STATS are? GPA/teas score? I know they say it’s lottery based but I think it’s split into two lotto groups based on stats and they take so long to respond that I have a feeling they don’t necessarily pull names out of a hat.

Again, many apologies about the harsh welcoming to this website. We are definitely highly stressed out.

Yes Guys I also called and they said they are sending out emails from this week trough next week. So May we get good news, and let’s stay positive!!!!

It boggles me as to why they wouldn’t send out the 30-40 acceptance letters first; on the same day. In what order are these applications in that accepted applicants would be notified over a period of 7 days!? It’s either a lie or they really are that unorganized; which is concerning.

Hey Folks...this waiting game is killing me. As time goes on I see how West Coast gets away with charging such high tuition. I have decent stats (gpa 3.8 with 80 teas score) and I’ve been denied by 7 schools so far. I’m still waiting to hear from Pierce, Pasadena, Glendale, Valley, Cerritos and I have that group interview with LA County Allied on Friday. If I don’t get into any of those then I’m screwed. I don’t have time to wait another 6 month application period. I’m on the 2 year waitlist for LATTC but that’s a joke.

I’m trying to catch up on posts here. It looks like Pierce is responding this week? Congrats to @DollyP and whomever else made it? I haven’t received anything so I’m assuming I got rejected or assigned as an alternate at best.

You have pretty good stats to get LA county allied... over there they look at your GPA the most ... I am sure you will get in somewhere just stay positive. As for me I don’t even know I am stressed out of my life. I am not even happy lately. This whole experience has drained the life out of me! :(

yea no prob I got an 82 on TEAS and 3.4 GPA

Has anyone else received any type of e-mail from Pierce yet? The anxiety is killing me!! I am losing hope at this point :(

Nothing yet. Last year, they heard back on the 4th, so I would hold off on panicking until the weekend or Monday.
