Lansing Community College, 2012 applicant role call!

I know there are some other LCC people out here somewhere! Anyone applying for 2012 admission?

I just applied for 2 year, 3 year and 2nd Degree programs today. Cast a wide net and see what you catch theory there!

I am estimating my point totals for 2 year and 3 year at 68-69 and 2nd Degree at 58-59.

Good luck to everyone who has worked so hard to get this far! May we all keep our sanity while we wait on letters...

Has anyone heard back from LCC yet on the 2012 traditional program?

I am getting SO impatient!

I was way off when I posted my point totals before. I was still working off of the advising guide that had 2011 points and the preliminary system for 2012. I have 157 for 2 and 3 year programs and 117 for 2nd Degree.

Hopefully we all hear some good news soon!

I talked to an advisor and she said letters would go out the last week in April. I can't believe it takes them 2 months to decide this as it is supposed to be all strickly point based and I received my letter detailing my point total a month ago!!! Has anyone heard any cut off numbers of what the points looked like with applicants?

My advisor said she'd know the point cut off the last week of April, so I guess we won't know until then.

I wonder how many applied this year?

I guess we will have to be patient and wait. I have not heard about how many applied. I just pray I get in and the suspense is killing me.

I think the wait is even worse than normal because of the changes in the point system - no one has any CLUE what to expect the cut offs to be!!!

Guess I will resume holding my breath now! LoL

I know...I wish they'd publish the point cut already, just so we know! While I won't be applying until January, I want to make sure I'll have enough points to be competitive. Might have to do some extra volunteer work to get more points if the cut off was very high this year.

I can't wait to read that the rest of you got your acceptance letters. Sending good vibes your way~~~~~ :D

I'm anxious for everyone! I talked to an advisor at the end of march and she said by the end of april she'd know the cutoff. I want to apply next March, so i wanna know what kinda point range i'm dealing with! good luck everyone :)

I will be applying next year, too! I'm axiously awaiting the announcement of the cut-off points so I can tell if I'm on track for January.

Are you taking any classes this summer or fall? Maybe we'll be in the same classes :D

No classes this summer- too busy i dont want grades to slip. this fall i'm taking math 112, bio 201 and soc 120 i believe. well, i hope! i have the rest of my prereqs done- i'm just retaking them to up my GPA. How about you??
