Langara September 2020 Intake

Hi Langara hopefuls!

I know it's early, but I wanted to start a thread for September 2020 intake because I'm currently ramping up to apply and getting excited!

I'm taking A+P at the moment, and will be taking 3 other prereqs in the fall at TRU. I have a couple of college certs, some uni credits, but no degree yet.

Anyone else out there prepping and getting ansy?

Specializes in DOING PREREQS FOR NURSING AT LANGARA!.

OMG I've been waiting foreverrr for langara to start sending out an email...or even a sign ? I have a 3.53 GPA and I'm retaking BIOL1191 for the Spring 2021 sem! hopefully I get waitlisted ?

Hey!
I haven’t heard anything yet, not sure about anyone else.

I had a friend who applied for January intake a few years ago and I think she got an acceptance email sometime in late June/ early July if that helps at all!

Keep yourselves busy everyone! I just realized that its been a little over a month and only a few weeks until we hear back!

Applied with a 3.3 w/ an undergrad but waiting to hear back from UBC or langara. Not sure which institution I would choose; they have pros and cons to both

Hey!

I emailed the admissions advisors and got a response today saying they are hoping to send out offers on Monday!

I applied with a 3.8 GPA and no previous degree.

Monday??? OMG ahhhh! Hahaha I'm glad you got some useful info from them. When I emailed them yesterday they said 2 months from when applications close. Info we already have! Hahah

OMG Monday... can someone check, does your application status just say “application is complete” ?

Mines been saying that since they received my transcript. I think the next one would say "acknowledged".. As apparently it means they're reviewing your application

I actually have both my fall 2020 and Spring 2021 application open. My Spring 2021 says “acknowledgement” already.

Oh, well then. I don't know ? unfortunately I'm feel that COVID may play a role in delaying this
