Hey guys! The deadline is quickly approaching for the Jan 2016 intake and I am already getting nervous and anxious. Especially after reading how high the GPA was for the fall 2015 intake. My GPA for the 5 credits is 3.18, so it's not outstanding and I'm quite nervous. How is everyone else feeling?

Hey guys, I've also applied for the Jan 2016 intake as well and am anxiously awaiting. My gpa on the 5 prerequisites is a 3.4 & I am extremely nervous that it will not be enough.
Does anyone know when offers go out?

My GPA is also 3.4! I'm not quite sure when the offers go out but from reading the past langara nursing forums I want to say offers begin being sent out 3-4 weeks after the deadline? So sadly it looks like we are going to be waiting for a while:(
Ahh, had a feeling we would have to wait a bit! From what I hear there are a TON of applicants for January.
Hopefully we hear some good news.
Oh gosh, I hope it's not too competitive :l
I just double checked and my gpa on the 5 prerequs is actually 3.3 . Hopefully it's enough.
Is anybody taking anatomy & physiology 2 this summer? (bio 1191 Langara)
I am taking 1191 :)

Hello
I recently applied to the BSN program at Langara. It says "To meet program requirements BIOL 1190 and 1191, or equivalents must be completed at the same institution". I took both bios at Douglas College..so does this mean my second bio is an extra pre-requisite or can it be counted as an university transfer course? Also, does the BSN program at Langara have ESN?

Hey there,
To be eligible for enrollment Biol 1190 and 1191 must be completed. I spoke to someone when I was hoping to apply for Sept intake. You are able to fill out a reactivate application form and submit it for the next intake so you don't have to pay the application fee again.
Biol 1190 is used as one of the 5 courses, and if you grade in Biol 1191 is higher than your elective they will replace one of your electives with that grade.
