Langara BSN Fall 2015

Hi everyone! Applications are now closed and acceptances should be sent out later this month. I'd love to hear from anyone who receives their acceptance as well as students currently in the program offering any advice, or anyone (im)patiently waiting like myself!

Same here, mine says "application is complete" as well. I also asked other classmates who also applied for fall, and we got the same application status as well..

thats weird hey bc it shows so many options like "application under review"...so i would assume the status should change from aplication is complete ugh i hate waiting. i hope the its worth the wait

I believe that if your app says "under review" it means they're looking at your application to see if you've submitted all the proper grades and that you meet the requirements to apply!

Last I heard (yesterday, Feb 16) was "Hopefully we will have more information later this week ... Thank you for your patience!"

I wonder though - if you don't get accepted now, there will probably be a waitlist?

Yes there is a waitlist my friend was 6th on it last year and got in. People accepted change their mind or dont accept it. I called yesterday and the guy said by end of feb bc they have 430 applications to review. ... thats like like than 1 percent of getting in! Ahh im thinking so negatively lol

Hey guys! I got accepted to the fall program!! They sent me an email on Friday telling me I've been accepted. My friend got accepted on Friday as well but she didn't receive an email until Saturday. I think there just very slow with updating the application status.

Congrats on getting in. I hope there are still seats available..getting so disappointed now.. =(

I heard for this January intake some people had a 2.9 GPA and many of them were on the wait list. I think a lotof people are waiting for responses from other institutions and they've accepted the offer just in case

A friend of mine got accepted this january intake and she has 2.92 cgpa. One of the advisors said they'll try sending out majority of acceptance at the end of february. What is gpa if you don't mind me asking? Thanks

My gpa in the 6 prerequisites was 3.6. I also have a bachelors degree with a lot of credits so that helped

I was wondering, does the total amount of credits you have affect our application on getting accepted?

I only had 15 credits when I applied, but the website says that a Bachelors degree or a high GPA will give you preference
