Langara BSN Fall 2015

Hi everyone! Applications are now closed and acceptances should be sent out later this month. I'd love to hear from anyone who receives their acceptance as well as students currently in the program offering any advice, or anyone (im)patiently waiting like myself!

Does anyone know if we can possibly take the pathos before hand?? I was considering taking it this summer semester since it's a big load course.

I just checked on the Langara website and it says I'm Waitlisted for Career program, but I didn't get an email saying I'm on the wait list

or where I'm positioned on the waitlist. Has anyone gotten an email saying you're waitlisted?

Hi i am on the waitlist as well. I emailed them asking whats my position but haven't heard from them. This intake is really competitive.

Hello everyone :) I got in the September 2015 intake as well! I've been checking this forum everyday while waiting for their email. You guys have been such a great help! :up: I hope to see all you guys on September!

No i havent heard anything from langara yet, my application status said i am still waitlisted. I already applied for january 2016, hope to get in for jan intake. Are you on the waitlist as well?

Did they tell you what position you are on the waitlist? I called earlier and they said they only waitlist around 20 people or so.. Eeek. I'm applying for January 2016 as well, but I'm hoping 3.5 will be enough! :blackeye:

Oh no, they didnt. I applied for 3.33 gpa but it isnt enough. I thinj 3.5 gpa is more than enoough. I heard that for this sept 2015 intake 3.4 gpa was the cut off. Are you on the waitlist for sept intake with 3.5 gpa?

No, I'm not on the waitlist because I'm just finishing up my classes. It's so hard to know what the GPA cut-off is.. I called a while ago and they said that 3.33 to around 3.67 should be enough, but maybe it's getting higher? Last January was only 2.9! Anyway, I'll check back in Aug with you. Best of luck!!

Yeah I am. There were some issues with my transcripts so I'm just anxiously waiting now... :nailbiting:
