Hi. I am very interested in the accelerated ASN program at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. Can anyone give me any information on this program? I've seen the information that is available online. However, I am looking for information from experienced insiders such as: getting accepted, true level of difficulty, etc. This will be a major career change for me, and I do not want to make a bad decision. I have a 3.6 gpa from SLU w/ AA in OSH and BA in Gen Studies. I consider myself a capable, hard working student but all I have heard is HORROR stories.
Thanks!
Glad I could help! The only thing that I would double check on is the new abbreviation for the course. ULM has changed some things up and is now on a new course number system (went from 3 digit to 4 digit courses... ex HLST 207=HLST 2007). The class I am currently taking is FCSC 2007. I see that the same teacher is teaching it this summer, but it is now HLST 2007. It is still going to be the same course and everything, but I would just double check that it transfers.
By the way, I love maymester and wintersession classes! go warhawks!
@sugrad10 medical terminology is not a prereq for OLOL... I took it in undergrad for my Healthcare Management Degree... I do believe it would help for nursing school though

I notice people speaking about medical term is it just for knowledge or do we need it
