Hi. I am very interested in the accelerated ASN program at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. Can anyone give me any information on this program? I've seen the information that is available online. However, I am looking for information from experienced insiders such as: getting accepted, true level of difficulty, etc. This will be a major career change for me, and I do not want to make a bad decision. I have a 3.6 gpa from SLU w/ AA in OSH and BA in Gen Studies. I consider myself a capable, hard working student but all I have heard is HORROR stories.
Thanks!
I know but this class is kicking my butt! I would like to get in but if I don't do well in this class then an acceptance letter would be pointless!
I'm just going to focus on this class and pray for the best. But the disorganization is really annoying me also, so looking another avenue may not be a bad thing.
Maybe I'm just having a moment, who knows!
Yes, it is easy. I think you would have to slack off pretty bad in order to make lower than a B. I graduated from ULM and have taken the same teacher for like 5 classes over the years. She doesn't complicate things. My dumb friends (the kind of guys that go to college just so they can party) even made As in her medical terminology class.
Another avenue that you should consider is Bossier Parish Community College. They have it online as well. Just check and make sure it transfers and make sure that it is available this summer.
Fumanchuesday,
Thanks so much for the info on the nutrition course at ULM! I'll be taking that online during the Maymester. My advisor warned me that taking nutrition and elementary statistics might be too much because they are "hard classes," so I was a little worried. But now I'm not. I need the math class for southeastern. I'm taking Medical Terminology right now, and it is uber easy.
I also graduated from ULM. Anyway, thanks again for the info and good luck to you all.

I'm so focused on so much other things right now, I'm not liking the unorganization of this, I'm really contemplating going a different route
