Hi. I am very interested in the accelerated ASN program at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. Can anyone give me any information on this program? I've seen the information that is available online. However, I am looking for information from experienced insiders such as: getting accepted, true level of difficulty, etc. This will be a major career change for me, and I do not want to make a bad decision. I have a 3.6 gpa from SLU w/ AA in OSH and BA in Gen Studies. I consider myself a capable, hard working student but all I have heard is HORROR stories.
Thanks!
Tulane campus starts 2 months earlier! The application says "If not accepted into program of choice, please consider me for another accelerated cohort or the traditional program." this is where I checked the "yes box". Then it says, "If you checked Yes, what program/cohort?", to which I responded, "Baton Rouge or Metairie Accelerated Programs". Now that I know that Tulane has not made their decisions yet and BR has, I'm fairly certain that this is not the way things went down. I ONLY put Tulane first bc it started first. I still wanted to be considered for the others. New Orleans area rent is much higher than BR area.
I will still be thrilled to get into Tulane campus, I just thought I would have a better shot if being considered for all.

Wow! If tulane hasnt made decisions yet and BR has already sent theirs out, that probably means I was not considered for all of them!
I guess I will no if I was considered for all of them if i get something in the mail today or tomorrow from BR!
