Lady of the Lake Accelerated ASN

Published

Hi. I am very interested in the accelerated ASN program at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. Can anyone give me any information on this program? I've seen the information that is available online. However, I am looking for information from experienced insiders such as: getting accepted, true level of difficulty, etc. This will be a major career change for me, and I do not want to make a bad decision. I have a 3.6 gpa from SLU w/ AA in OSH and BA in Gen Studies. I consider myself a capable, hard working student but all I have heard is HORROR stories.

Thanks!

I'm in Lafayette. I normally get things the day after they are sent from BR. Of course this time it will take longer. If it doesn't come tomorrow I'm gonna start to wonder if they only sent letters to those accepted.

Hi everyone. I received my acceptance letter for the BR accelerated ASN program today! I called the college yesterday and was told that the letters for the BR program were mailed yesterday so hopefully you guys should receive them by tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. Best of luck to everyone!!

Has anyone else been accepted to the BR school?

lsutiger85 do you live in BR? Did the letter give any information about when you have to accept by or if there is a meeting date?

Congratulations on your acceptance!

Congratulations!

lynn23, yes I do live in Baton Rouge. The deadline to accept or decline is May 30. Hope that you receive your letter soon. Good luck to you :)

Nothing in the mail today and I'm in freaking Baton Rouge! I'm so frustrated!

So tomorrow should be the day...for better or worse. If nothing comes tomorrow I'm calling and asking if they sent letters to all applicants.

I am really sick to my stomach now.

lsupanda I'm sure you got in. Your letter will come tomorrow.

Thanks, but I'm not that confident. If I don't get it tomorrow, then I'm going to call.

Congrats on your acceptance! Did you have all of your prerequisites completed already? I'm just trying to see how many completed them and how many still in progress. I applied for tulane and east Jeff, thought that tulane would have sent out letters first because it starts first.

Fumanchuesday we are in the same boat, I'm going to have to try and work while attending because I really don't want to take out a loan, I guess we will continue to keep pausing our lives until we get our letter, at least someone on here got in! Prayerfully more to follow!:smackingf
