LA County College of Nursing LVN-RN Summer 2014

Hello everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for those of us who applied to the Los Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health for the LVN-RN bridge Summer 2014 cohort. I took the TEAS V on 2/22/14 and I passed with the 5 bonus points! Yay! This is the only school I want to go to and really hope I get in otherwise I have to wait another semester since this is the ONLY school I applied to! yikes! So I am anxiously waiting for the acceptance letters to be sent out in mid-April! I am a little nervous since I have not worked as an LVN so I hope that my schooling has prepared me enough for this program! We will see!

Well, no letter today, I have 82 points not as competitive but stil, have hope

If you have 82 points I would think you have a great shot at it! Especially since last year everyone with 75 points was sent an acceptance letter. I would really be surprised if you didn't get one. Well there is still tomorrow! Don't lose hope!

I really hope so, but I leave it to god, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I'll update tomorrow again .

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that, best of luck to you next time around. County is a great school but there are a lot of other great schools you can apply to along with county just to increase your chances of getting into one.

I met a girl in my class at LACC yesterday, and she said she got accepted to County's LVN-RN program. She found out Monday and she had 84 points. Good luck to everyone who is waiting to hear back from County. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm so sorry. I'm glad that you are not giving up! Did you apply anywhere else? How many points did you have this time?
