LA County College of Nursing LVN-RN Summer 2014

Hello everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for those of us who applied to the Los Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health for the LVN-RN bridge Summer 2014 cohort. I took the TEAS V on 2/22/14 and I passed with the 5 bonus points! Yay! This is the only school I want to go to and really hope I get in otherwise I have to wait another semester since this is the ONLY school I applied to! yikes! So I am anxiously waiting for the acceptance letters to be sent out in mid-April! I am a little nervous since I have not worked as an LVN so I hope that my schooling has prepared me enough for this program! We will see!

Well now it seems like you are just waiting for acceptance since you have more than the cut off. Make sure you send in the postcard right away once you get it because the letter says you must send it and call by May 10th or so. Not sure exactly on the date off the top of my head but it's around there.

I'm waiting but thinking positive and still going forward in the end I will become an RN with my ADN if not here maybe through LATTC but I'm not giving up. Stay positive ladies!

Woooooo-Hoooooo! I am so excited for you! I got my acceptance letter for the RN program from LACC yesterday, and since that was my first choice school, I've been on cloud nine since yesterday. I know the feeling. Congratulations! Congratulations!
