I decided to create this post because I haven't seen any updated threads that relate to the Fall 2015 applicant pool. I'd love to hear from some of you out there who may have also applied so we can begin communicating with each other any updates, info, thoughts, and feelings as this is such a long and anxious process.
A bit of info about myself, I am currently attending elac, I am done with all my prereqs, this is the second time I am applying. I didn't make the cut last term (spring 2015) because I didn't have the points for speech and political science so I did them over winter, although I still don't think they will count because the grades weren't posted before the deadline! The only thing that i did extra with my time that I had proof for was Volunteering at the County Hospital in the ER, so I'm hoping that counts for something..
I have also applied to LACC, LASC, PCC, Rio Hondo, Citrus, Cerritos, but county is definitely my number 1 choice!
Congrats to all you LVN's that made it!! I cant even imagine how excited you all must be!
do any of you know if lvns get notified before generic applicants? Or is it about the same time?
For everyone's that waiting.. For spring admission they told us we were going to get notified December 1st but I got an email on nov 13th notifying me of acceptance.., if it's the same timeframe it's either gonna be this coming week or next week.... Be patient I know everyone has their thoughts consumed with being accepted lol I know exactly how you feel!!!!
I got the packet yesterday as well! Is yours missing the skills checkoff list also? It said it was enclosed so I could review/practice but it's not in there!
I didn't get a skills checklist either! I'm also a little confused as the pre-admission questionnaire & TEAS release was included, but I sent these in months ago. Did anyone else get these again too?
I guess we'll be getting the checklist during registration? And no I didn't get the teas form and questionnaire again. I guess bring those with you on the 8th and ask them if they need it again :) it says I just need the health clearance and official transcript from community college for spring 2015 (which I haven't finished yet)!
Nothing yet...but I've read here couple of previous classes posts (just take a look at 2013 or 2014), and they just get notified somewhere around end of May or beginning of June, if I remember well...anyway, I am trying to focus some other things, because this waiting is killing me!!! Anyone knows anything about the cut score for generic this year?..(I am not sure I have enough points...fingers crossed.
Ok good to know, thank you! Ive been trying to stay busy as well but then I get these mini bursts of frustration from not knowing.. Hopefully they tell us sooner
