I decided to create this post because I haven't seen any updated threads that relate to the Fall 2015 applicant pool. I'd love to hear from some of you out there who may have also applied so we can begin communicating with each other any updates, info, thoughts, and feelings as this is such a long and anxious process.
A bit of info about myself, I am currently attending elac, I am done with all my prereqs, this is the second time I am applying. I didn't make the cut last term (spring 2015) because I didn't have the points for speech and political science so I did them over winter, although I still don't think they will count because the grades weren't posted before the deadline! The only thing that i did extra with my time that I had proof for was Volunteering at the County Hospital in the ER, so I'm hoping that counts for something..
I have also applied to LACC, LASC, PCC, Rio Hondo, Citrus, Cerritos, but county is definitely my number 1 choice!
Would love to meet up! Oh man I asked everyone if they were part of this thread and they looked at me like I was weird lol! I only got to meet mrs_baltazar!
Hey guys so the reason I haven't been on lately is because I've been doing a lot of thinking, & it saddens me to say that I have decided to postpone nursing school for now. I already let county know a while ago, I wish you all the best of luck

Hi again everyone! I actually wasn't able to make it to registration day because I'm out of town. Can anyone fill me in on what I missed?! Looks like they've given us the checklist... I'm so curious for what other info they gave us and don't get back home for a few more days.
Nurseammo, they gave us a packet of info... Everything from financial info, to the syllabus for the summer course, to an overview of the program. I can send pics of anything in particular you are itching to get your hands on. I left my personal info on a comment above. Contact me, and I can go into more detail! It is a lot of information, including the next steps. I am going I for Lifescan today, and then have to start the medical clearance.

Hey everybody! I just got a call from LACC that I was accepted to their program but I declined my spot since I am going to attend GCC instead. I just wanted to let you guys know they are notifying people now so if you've been waiting you'll get notified soon if you haven't yet! Woohoo!!!!!!
Los Angeles City College...I am still waiting on County they are suppose to mail letters...i'm sorry I was so excited I forgot this was a LA County topic
